How far in advance should I book my boudoir session?
I always recommend 2-3 months before you need your photos in hand. For example, if your wedding is October 15th- I'd recommend scheduling your shoot for beginning of August. I do book out pretty far in advance, so if you KNOW you want to do a shoot but need some time to buy some outfits, build some confidence or save some money, I am allowing bookings up until end of October 2020.
Is a printed boudoir album included in the package, or is that an add on? How much do those typically cost?
Almost every single one of my clients chooses to print an album after their shoot. It's THE BEST way to hold your photos in a timeless way. They're beautiful and classic linen or leather albums that can be personalized to your liking. At this time, it is an additional cost on top of your package. I work with you to design the layout of your album and build it with your fave images. The cost typically runs from $300-$600, depending on how many images you choose to include. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. I can help get that cost as close to your budget as possible if you tell me your album budget in advance! I also am now offering metal prints, which are gorgeous high quality prints to hang on your wall to act as a constant reminder of how badass you are, every time you walk by.
Can I bring someone with me to my shoot?
As much fun as it might sound- I recommend coming alone. I promise I will be your BFF for the day and your very own personal cheerleader. I've had clients bring friends/family members in the past, and have found it to be distracting, not only for you, but me as well! It's best when it's just you and me in the studio.
Do you do any retouching on stretch marks, cellulite, or scars?
I am a firm believer that all bodies are good bodies. I remove "the temporary stuff" like bruises, stress acne, or scratches. But I'm one of the few boudoir photographers who truly believes in being photoshop-free and embracing + celebrating the REAL you. Every curve, every wrinkle, every scar. You'll be so focused on how amazing you look, you might not even notice those little things anyways.
How do I book a boudoir session with you?
First things first, come say hey! Reach out and tell me your "why" for doing a session. Let me know if you have a deadline for getting your photos back too! Once you reach out, I'll reply with some info and get to know you a little. We'll get scheduled for a phone call or an in-person consultation to go over all of your questions, talk about outfits, go over my contract and discuss payment. I require 50% upfront to book a date on my calendar and the remaining balance is due three days before your session.
I have a question that isn't on your website. Where is the best place to ask?
I would love it if you contacted me via email or instagram DM if you have a question that isn't on my site! There is no such thing as a dumb question, trust me- if you think you have a dumb or embarrassing question, chances are it has been asked before. No biggie! Just reach out, I'm an open book.
